Loss prevention remains a key concern for Retail, with the British Retail Consortium reporting significant increases in customer theft and fraud during the period 2013-2014, with the direct cost of crime in the UK reaching £603 Million. The BRC's 2014 Retail Crime Survey highlights Customer Crime as being the largest concern, accounting for 81% of all retail crime by volume.
