Infosec Partners are pleased to announce that we are working with the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) to provide a series of maritime cyber security training courses, suitable for those involved in the design, construction, maintenance and operation of marine vessels and structures.

Starting the week commencing 12th April 2021, our GCHQ approved trainers will be providing an interactive remote learning experience with practical examples, scenarios and simulations, plus technical demonstrations in conjunction with Fortinet, our technical cyber security partner.

“Highly commendable that this gap in the maritime industry is being closed by RINA and Infosec Partners with this good value initiative.  You only get cyber wrong once. Such common sense training seems obvious.”
Chris Parker MBE,  Director, Central Government & Defence, Fortinet

The training consists of five modules in distinct areas of maritime cyber security, including maritime cyber risk management, IMO compliance and how to protect your IT and OT systems from cyber threats.

Each module is delivered as a 1 day remote course and participants can choose to attend separate modules or the full 5 module course. Those successfully completing and passing 3 of the 5 modules will be awarded a formal education certificate through an examination body (PECB/APMG).

You can find more information about the modules and presenters in the course brochure.

Module 1    12 April 2021    Maritime Cyber Risk Management
Module 2 13 April 2021 IMO Cyber Resolution MSC.428(98) – A Framework for Certification
Module 3 14 April 2021 Technical Cyber Controls for Maritime Networks
Module 4 15 April 2021 Cyber Security Testing, Assessment and 3rd Party Review
